I believe every person carries a unique story, and that finding the right therapeutic fit is an essential part of healing. My approach is grounded in collaboration—I walk alongside clients as we explore the path that best supports their growth, resilience, and wellbeing. I view therapy as a shared journey, and I strive to create a space where compassion, validation, and practical skills come together to foster meaningful change. I also emphasize the importance of selfcare as a vital component of the healing process.

I live in Cedar City with my longhaired calico cat, Baby. I have three grown children and four grandchildren who live out of state. Although I spent twenty years in northern Arizona, Cedar City has always felt like home. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in elder care, education, and with adults experiencing Severe Mental Illness (SMI). These experiences deeply shaped my understanding of human resilience and the diverse challenges people face. I work primarily with adults and young adults. My specialty is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients in building insight, developing coping skills, and creating sustainable change.

I have a strong interest in trauma care, faith transitions, religious trauma, cult survivor support, and veteran care, and I look forward to continuing my training in these areas. My goal is to provide a therapeutic environment that is warm, respectful, and grounded in evidence based practice, where clients feel supported as they move toward healing and empowerment.
